So, we are inviting them to use our spaces whether it is to receive donations and then dispatch them or to conduct their business. So, if you`re an NGO and you`ve lost an office, of the office was destroyed in a way that you can`t use it, then we are inviting teams to come and use office spaces here for free or at nominal fees depending on the situation, and allowing them to continue with work basically.” - TC 02:06 SOUNDBITE 2 (English) Rania, CEO of Antwork: “You cannot be part of what`s happening around you. We do need to show stands with the society around us, and the way in which we can help is to provide the logistics and space as this is what we do, this is what we know how to help.” - TC 02:26 SOUNDBITE 1 (English) Lina, NGO “Iftar in a box”: I have established with my friends “Iftar in a box”. It`s an initiative of volunteers, 100 percent volunteers. We are all a group of friends that are trying to help as much as possible. We started in Ramadan when the crisis went really bad in Lebanon, and we tried to provide some meals for the needy, but with dignity, meaning really boxes with all the ingredients and the spices and the recipes per family. We were going to stop, and then the blast happened, unfortunately. So, we decided to keep on and use this platform to be able to help as many as possible since we are connected with several NGOs and several entities on the ground to be able to help as many families as possible.” - TC 03:22 SOUNDBITE 1 (ENGLISH) Lina, NGO “Iftar in a box”: “We are preparing health and hygiene kits because that is much needed by the families that have lost their houses and who are hosted at neighbours and families.”
