She had lived in a nursing home in Hartberg when a doctor suspected a COVID-19 case and brought her to the hospital in Graz. Several residents of the nursing home are likely to be infected, residents and nursing staff were immediately isolated. So far, three people have died in Austria: Last week, a 69-year-old died in Vienna and a 65-year-old man is also suspected of COVID-19 death. The number of confirmed infections with the new coronavirus in Austria rose to 959 as of Monday morning. According to the Ministry of Health, 8,490 tests have so far been carried out nationwide. Six Covid-19 patients are considered recovered. Regarding general numbers of infections in the Austrian provinces, most confirmed cases of infection with COVID-19 were reported to the Tyrolean Ministry (254). 150 cases were reported from Lower Austria, in Vienna there were 122, in Styria 111, in Upper Austria 196, in Salzburg 54, in Burgenland ten, in Vorarlberg 55 and in Carinthia seven. Six former patients are considered recovered, two in Tyrol, three in Vienna and one person in Lower Austria.
