- Summary: The Road / Michael K. Williams: HRN-3450 The Road Michael K. Williams
- Description:03:41:01 - Sound Bite: Michael K. Williams Uhm its the age old shame of the Adam and Eve left on us I guess but uhm it was also cold you know vulnerability its like uhm you know you can take everything from a man but you cant have these you know these are mine and all mine uhm thats the, cause it wasnt natural, it wasnt nothing John told me to do, it was a natural reaction to just hold onto something that was dear to me cause I, take it, take it, taken everything from him so you know hold onto my nuts ahahha. 03:42:06 - Sound Bite: Michael K. Williams You know just, just, it was just desperate, this guy was just desperate, he was trying to survive you know just like everybody else on that road and you know uhm and people that the character or the scene represents humanity it was a pivotal point I think the uhm that pretty such goes, thats a common thread throughout the entire story. For me uhm I loved how the most important line that came out of my mouth was listen to the boy because this was a scene that you clearly saw a boy becoming a man. He challenged his father like a man and thats the first time you really see that and uhm you know thief is like listen to the boy, the boy knows what hes talking about. You know so uhm that if anything, like you know if I was to testament to man this boy is making scents you know to testimony of Cody, boy becoming a man and and learning how to take care of himself and have his own scents of morals. 03:43:30 - Sound Bite: Michael K. Williams Absolutely because they both know he could have been a cheeseburger happy meal you know uhm but the fact that you know you know or you know rape any kind of weird thing could have happened uhm to that young man, that little boy sleeping there defenseless and the fact that Thief didnt even though him you know spoke to, it spoke to Boyus as a testimony of who he is, who who Thief was inside. The boy saw some fire inside the Thief. 03:44:15 - Sound Bite: Michael K. Williams You know Cody hes a thespian in every sense of the word. He has a certain, I guess he brought that childlike freedom that kids have and he he he he applied it to the seriousness of this character and to the level of of responsibility that was put on his shoulders he he wore like a lose coat you know and I just you know just the scene that stuck out to me most I was talking to Viggo yesterday he asked me how I liked the film, I said my favorite part was when Papa washed his hair and he broke down in Papas arms after he washed his hair. The pain in that little boys voice Im like okay this kids got it, hes got it.
