(talks) Its just so different, and thats why I wanted to do it, because it didnt feel, you know and I read all of these superhero movies kind of get developed around the same time, and also just these kind of event movies, you know, come summer time, and you read them all together, you know they just start to feel very much like what people expect those movies to be and I dont wanna go and do a movie just for the sake of the genre or the time that its being released, I wanna go do movies that I just really think are good stories and this felt like a really good story. 14:24:35 - A03. HRN-2395 In: 14.24.35 Out: 14.25.13 Sound Bite: Charlize Theron Smiths track record of films and how theyre unique Yeah and I think his work as an actor in the last couple of years have made people like me want to work, I mean I really want to work with him because I know Will from 8 years ago when we worked on The Legend of Bagger Vance and he is the kind of actor you know very easily for him right now he could be just sitting back and going, you know what, Im just gonna like, Im just gonna let this just go and Im just gonna like ride in with my eyes closed, and he doesnt, you know he wants to push himself, he wants to be around actors that he feels will push him and Im that way I wanna be around actors that I feel will push me. 14:25:18 - A04. HRN-2395 In: 14.25.18 Out: 14.25.56 Sound Bite: Charlize Theron on Jason Bateman Yeah I have a history with both of these boys. Im a huge fan of Jason Bateman. Im a huge fan of that show Arrested Development, and I just wanted to go and do something that was different and you couldnt get more different than that show, and a lot of it had to do with Jason. I think hes incredibly talented, you know, this is a guy that you could give him a script about a poppy seed and he would make it a hit, you know, thats how talented he is, and I loved being around him, and I look at him like you know like a little puppy dog, Im just teach me, teach me how to be funny.
