- Summary: Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (Set Visit): Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer Junket Set Visit Chris Evans & Michael Chiklis Interview Camera "A"
- Description:17:40:01 - Sound bite: Chris Evans Well I mean its given a pretty decent amount of exposure. I think a lot of the foreign market is a big factor to book certain films. To get certain films green lit. To get them on their feet. You need foreign financing and you need to have foreign appeal. And if no one ever sees or knows who you are, you are gonna have a harder time locking down some jobs in Los Angeles. This gave me an opportunity to get my face out overseas. 17:40:45 - Sound bite: Michael Chiklis Well you know, my career is a long one and on a graph its spiky or you could look at it as a slow steady climb. You know because of my origins. I started in the theatre first but the first film I ever got in I was the first lead in a major motion picture but then it was ill-fated and very controversial and highly attacked so I didnt have options available so I had to go back to the television industry and then climb from there so I have been up and down and over and out and you know yes, the success of the Shield has definitely created a lot of opportunities and I knew that I had to use the momentum of that if I wanted to make the leap onto the big screen and I looked for a few years and this was the third hiatus that this finally came and I said no to a lot of projects and I really wanted to get into a film that was out into the international world in a big way and would help really catapult me into a screen career. A big screen career and that is happening and Im thankful for it and I hope that it will continue. 17:42:29 - Sound bite: Chris Evans First of all let me say that I never ever get recognized, ever. Ever. I have said to people I am the person from that movie and they say, yeah right I just watched that last night, get out of here. Ever ever. 17:42:56 - Sound bite: Chris Evans & Michael Chiklis (Chris) Its a great thing. Its a blessing. If I can somehow keep that going. You know you can use, there are perks that come with fame but I think anonymity is priceless. (Michael) Oh yeah, absolutely. If you have a noggin like mine and its over. You know what I mean. It takes me an hour to buy milk. 17:43:29 - Sound bite: Michael Chiklis Yeah pretty much. You know Im sort of, Im a people person. I find it hard sometimes to be sort of off putting. It just isnt in my makeup. And I dont wish it any other way. I think for the one minute or so I spend with someone it buys you a lot of good will. I think a lot of actors make the mistake of being off-putting, pushing those people away because those are the people you owe your career to ultimately. However, sometimes you just want to function in your life and then it can be kind of intrusive but you know look. Im gonna deknown the downside of celebrity when you are among the 1% of the world. I dont think so. 17:44:30 - Sound bite: Chris Evans & Michael Chiklis (Chris) Well the most important thing, I think the most important thing is to me about pace. I think in the first film it was an origin film, I think a lot of time was given to establish these characters and how we got these powers and coming to terms with our comfort level in the roles of super-heroes. This movie we get to start right in with action. This movie begins immediately with pace and plot and action. (Michael) We are right into storytelling. We are right into the thick of it. We dont have to lay a track down on this one.
