- Description:01:00:01 - Sound Bite: Djimon Hounsou Well its just a fantasy story you know and we all like to escape our daily life and uh you know visit a world that uh completely is outside of our you know conceived you know life. 01:00:39 - Sound Bite: Djimon Hounsou Yeah it is unique and uh but again hes a very talented kid and again fantasy comes from anywhere really (talks) Yes I just met him actually for the first time yes just like two minutes ago. 01:00:56 - Sound Bite: Djimon Hounsou Well yeah no we except more I mean certainly for my character yes 01:01:09 - Sound Bite: Djimon Hounsou It is different in its way and its uh you know this one its really truly about dragon riders and dragons you know and being the last of you know sort of like Kingdom that can host and certainly allow dragons to live, its a beautiful story you know again it has nothing to do with Lord of the Ring, I mean its sort of like in the same setting and that uhm fantastic world but again its a different, complete different 01:01:54 - Sound Bite: John Malkovich Well uh I liked the idea that its written by someone so young uh who just sits out in Montana and making things up is quite nice. 01:02:27 - Sound Bite: John Malkovich Beautiful, I was actually on uh trail Glacier National Park and a forest fire fighter out there, its a very beautiful out there but its pretty isolated I bet, especially in winter (talks) yeah only tonight yeah yeah. 01:02:50 - Sound Bite: Edward Speleers What they want to know the most? How I got the part, so dont ask me that. 01:03:16 - Sound Bite: Edward Speleers My first professional job yeah yeah (talks) uh its pretty damn good you know I didnt get to work with John myself but I got to work with this beautiful lady next to me and that chap down there Jeremy obviously, Jeremy was obviously uh inspirational for me, very much a father figure you know hes helped me out a lot and its a real treat to have that honor. 01:03:41 - Sound Bite: Edward Speleers Ive seen some of it (talks) I mean Hollywoods an interesting place, if you go to the right places and you do the right things you can avoid the crap, you avoid the pretentiousness you can be right in the mix of it and thats dangerous. 01:03:57 - Sound Bite: Edward Speleers Hasnt really I just get on planes more often then I used to, it hasnt changed other than that. 01:04:09 - Sound Bite: Stefen Fangmeier Worked at Industrial Light and Magic for fifteen of those and had a wonderful visual effects career so this was a transition that I hoped to make and you know this was the perfect project to do it. 01:04:29 - Sound Bite: Stefen Fangmeier Yes or any first direct, my directorial debut so to speak (talks) Well yes because the studio actually asked me wouldnt you first like to make a small film I said well all the ones Ive worked on have sort of been these types of films, this is what I know how to do and in a way what I was really more concerned about and wanted to focus on was directing actors and you know I had a wonderful cast and really some great actors that Ive respected over many years so it was really a pleasure to work with them. 01:05:02 - Sound Bite: Stefen Fangmeier Uh I think yeah maybe five years ago by a fellow yeah seven years ago maybe, he started when he was 15 years he completed at 17 with the support of his family and so its really a great perspective cause he writes about the heroes as if it was himself you know its different then you know a 30 year old writing about being a teenager, he really was in that stage and I think thats why his expression of the character the desires, the dreams and the feelings are so profound and thats why I think young audiences really have connected with it. 01:05:34 - Sound Bite: Stefen Fangmeier Yeah he lives in the middle of nowhere really home schooled you know and I think hes an avid movie watcher, I think they watch 300 movies a year and you can sort of see the strong influence between Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and all the different elements and yet he really created all of that which hed seen before into a unique story and thats why I really appreciate it. 01:06:05 - Sound Bite: Sienna Guillory Uhm I play Arya shes an Elf, shes a princess, shes a warrior shes part damsel in distress but shes got, she's kind of made of steel in the inside, shes a slow mover shes a hundred years old, she like slowly work romantically, shes cool, I really admire her. 01:06:41 - Sound Bite: Sienna Guillory Uhm I think I as just reallu blown away by the story and to play this part in the story, shes shes self sacrificing, she cares more about there can be hope in the world then her own gain, that I admire. 01:07:01 - Sound Bite: Sienna Guillory Uhm this is kind of a simultaneous discovery I mean (talks) absolutely and he knows woman. 01:07:20 - Sound Bite: Christopher Paolini It was the confluence of a huge number of different elements, one I had a lot of time on my hands because I graduated high school at fifteen so I had extra time on my hands, I was growing up and I wanted to write about that, I loved writing fantasy but most important of all my family supported me every day I was working on this and without them I wouldnt be where I am now, families very thing. 01:08:02 - Sound Bite: Christopher Paolini Uhm it was actually a fairly simple process, what happened was when Random House, when Random House uhm acquired Eragon uh they, Fox had herad of the movie and they approached us soon after Random House series and we got the offer and it just sort f has been going from there.
