- Description:00:01:28 - HRN-457 Barnyard Premiere A01. HRN-457 In: 00.19.53 Out: 00.20.21 Sound bite: Andie MacDowell I think kids go to movies, it is part of the thing. I know my kids go to the movies more than I do. But you know the great thing about Barnyard is that it is going to appeal to adults as well. Having raised three children, Ive still got an eleven year old, I have done my share of kids movies that were not entertaining. The wonderful thing about this is that parents are going to enjoy it to. It is a really bright movie. A02. HRN-457 In: 00.20.25 Out: 00.20.40 Sound bite: Andie MacDowell (On her character) A03. HRN-457 In: 00.14.56 Out: 00.15.51 Sound bite: Sam Elliot I dont know if there is an appeal or if it is just everyone thinking there is an appeal. You know I dont know. Its a great form. It has arrived technologically to a level of Jesus, it is like everything else in the movie business, if you can conceive of it you can put it on film. So why not animated. There is a huge marketplace for it. There a lot of little kids that like to see animated films. Thats the trick, to cross the line. And Steve Oedekerk crossed the like and he did so in spades I think. A04. HRN-457 In: 00.17.00 Out: 00.17.44 Sound bite: Steve Oedekerk You know, I think it is healthy for animation but it is probably a fad if you think about it. I mean people are probably just jumping onto a new look with is the CGI film look but personally I think 2D cell drawn animation is going to come back. I think it is just a wave. It is all about stories. If the story is strong, people are going to love it and then the tools you use to accomplish it, like me. I have done mostly live action but I love CG. I may actually do a hand drawn film just because everyone else is avoiding it. A05. HRN-457 In: 00.17.43 Out: 00.17.55 Sound bite: Steve Oedekerk Well yeah, it is not like anyoneI think it was artificially killed. It is not like anybody would avoid seeing The Lion King if it had been out a week from now. Its a great movie. A06.
