- Title: Comic Strip
- Date: 31st January 1983
- Summary: (The Summer School) A group of people sign up for a two week summer school course at a university. They are to live in a mud hut village in the middle of the university grounds and try to be just like people were in the Iron Age. The group of people dress in rags and have to build a fire and find their own food. Things become rather strange when Liz suggests that they invent a grunting language and Tark thinks that they should be able to kill any students that wonder into the village by mistake. After stealing some rabbits to eat from the labs Tark suggests they set up a rota so that they all get to have sex together as that is what they would have done. Everyone agrees only Tark is left with Beth's sickly husband Jake. Ursula has been after Peter from the start and wants him to impregnate her but he is rescued by the ominous 'Lag' (Desmond) who then tries to take Peter for himself. In the morning they discover Jake is dead and decide to have a burning ritual. Things get out of hand as the whole village burns down and the fire engine is called. In all the confusion Ursula manages to bed Peter and Jake actually wakes up before being burned alive. The course leader is furious and decides never to run the course again.
