Their collective experiences reveal the reality of trying for a baby over the age of 30. (episode one) The Big Choice In this first episode we meet four of the 30 women who are looking at different ways in which they can have a baby without a man. First we meet Leesha who is 35 and has not yet decided how to have a baby. Ideally she would like a man but she has not been able to meet anyone special. Tamsin is a school teacher from Surrey and thinks that she is too fussy when it comes to men. Karen as a Senior Staff Nurse from Weymouth wants to adopt. This is not an easy option but Karen wants her father and nephew to be the male role-models for the child. Tamsin goes for a fertility test and the results show that she cannot afford to wait any longer if she wants to conceive. Joy from Birmingham has a huge family and is the only one who does not have children. Joy has decided that she wants to use an anonymous sperm-donor. Narrator Liza Tarbuck Producer Elizabeth Dobson
