Description:00 39 53 00 United States, 1920s. A down-and-out slum neighborhood, popular with numerous gangsters, infamous and dangerous. A fight starts in the middle of the street, a streetcleaner passes at the same moment and the gangsters scatterm shots are fired. A man emerges from the trashcart, his derby riddled with bullets. A shoot-out has taken over the street, gang war, scores betzeen rival gangs getting settled. The man is caught in the crossfire, he takes out a white flag and waves it, causing a ceasefire. Peace. He examines his hat, riddled with holes. Soon all the gangsters gather around him. He seems worried, shy to find himself surrounded by all these gangsters, crooks. A new fight starts, explosions. The man with the bowler hat is coiled blows.
