- Summary: MARK RUFFALO/THE BROTHERS BLOOM: HRN-2961 The Brothers Bloom Mark Ruffalo
- Description:22:44:51 - Sound Bite: Mark Ruffalo what did he like about the script I liked how it kind of, what a wild ride it was, kind of where it takes you um I like that it had the comedy and the drama and the slapstick and the 22:45:12 - Sound Bite: Mark Ruffalo its comedy but tragic at the same time Yeah, its life, but in a much more grander more adventurous way. But yeah it has a great love story thats going on not only a romantic love story but a love story between these 2 brothers too and um and its all set in this kind of fun, twisty uh (talks) in its own world. I mean you look at it youre immediately like wow, what is that world, you know? 22:45:51 - Sound Bite: Mark Ruffalo what time period Um its anachronistic, its um they look at themselves as throwbacks, these gentlemen con men, these kind of connoisseurs of the con, uh they feel like, Steven certainly feels like they belong to a long line of uh a certain um art form, lets say, and they like fine things, classic, fine, handmade things which happen to be old because theres not a lot of that around anymore. 22:46:38 - Sound Bite: Mark Ruffalo basically his character is trying to survive Yes and its kind of in a strange way a million dollar hand to mouth game theyre playing, you know, and its they dont know anything else. 22:47:24 - Sound Bite: Mark Ruffalo on where they shot In Serbia, in Belgrade of all places you know its like and it is its incredible, I mean they have like this very old uh culture and uh with this gypsy influence there thats totally, its incredible. Gypsy music and this overlapping of the horse and mule and Mercedes Benzes, its like, and then yeah and then theyre old communist roots, and we shot on Titos train. Its like everywhere you go theres an enormous amount of culture and time and just quirkiness, its just crazy looking there.
