- Summary: Daniel Craig: HRN-2825 "Quantum of Solace" Daniel Craig Interview
- Description:03:21:15 - Sound Bite: Daniel Craig was it more intense than the first one Maybe, I think we took a lot of we learned in the first one and applied it to this one um Im doing a lot of the stunts but to my mind I dont feel like Im doing any more its just that you know we started something in the last one and it was just about sort of solidifying all the skills that we learned some of the things that, getting my face in there. That was really it and once we could get my face in there I knew knowing how far I could push it the moment that the really skilled people could step in and take over and do the really skilled bit thats the key to this I think. 03:21:51 - Sound Bite: Daniel Craig a lot of people are watching to see if the stunts are him I do, if Im watching a movie thats what I do and I just want to and of course therell be moments where you snap out but I just want to kind of keep those to a minimum. 03:22:03 - Sound Bite: Daniel Craig was it tough It was tough, it was tough physically, it was tough emotionally for everybody, it was tough emotionally for everybody because partly we were away from home for such a long period of time and thats always difficult but we kind of all clubbed together, you become a kind of family away from home and you look after each other and beat each other up and argue with each other, like you always do, you know. 03:22:31 - Sound Bite: Daniel Craig he was more familiar with the people involved I was more familiar with a lot of the crew, but a lot of new crew that came in who introduced me, Mark of course as a director brings in his own people as well, and so we all had to kind of fight to get along, not fight to get along, but fight to sort of understand each other very quickly in a very short period of time, but you know theres a really highly skilled people and really good people and slightly crazy and all those lovely things so you know thats kind of the biggest part of the job for me is sort of working with those people. 03:23:08 - Sound Bite: Daniel Craig is it a challenge to keep Bond relevant to today Theres always a challenge but I also I think you got to sort of go against that, I mean I think the relevance, I think if you try and make it too relevant it becomes it ceases to become a James Bond movie because actually its fantasy and its heightened fantasy its a heightened reality but its a James Bond movie and if you sort of try to make it too political or too trendy it becomes kind of it becomes crass and thats that balance, we want to make a sort of stylistic kind of old fashioned modern movie, thats my tagline for today. 03:23:57 - Sound Bite: Daniel Craig have you talked about the next movie We talked about things but genuinely were all sort of in that space in the moment, all the producers, Mark and everybody, were all in that space for now. Its just getting this out and sort of discussing this project but I do think weve kind of rounded up and tied up a lot of loose ends from Casino Royale and anythings possible now, really genuinely anythings possible. 03:24:27 - Sound Bite: Daniel Craig are you actively looking for different roles? Always, always, not actively looking for different roles just actively looking for roles, I mean its just what I do so Im looking for good scripts and working with interesting people. You know its always going to be a part of what I do so I hope to not stop doing that for awhile.
