Tim: I love gardens and I would like to be useful, Id like to you know, I would like to go around pollinating really, I think that would be fun dont you? 01:11:24 - Sound Bite: Tim Curry Yegor Fly Me To The Moon Um, Helen Mirren, because shes extremely bright and fearless and gorgeous, who else? Um, another celebrity to go with, I think I would just stick with Helen. 01:12:17 - Sound Bite: Tim Curry Yegor Fly Me To The Moon ***Sniped Its not hard at all, because Ive been doing it for a long time, um, I used to do a lot of TV animation and Ive done, I dont know, 12 animated movies so for me its just another day at the office. 01:12:39 - Sound Bite: Tim Curry Yegor Fly Me To The Moon ***Sniped Well its funny, we were just talking to this gentleman here, who said he saw me as Mozart in Amadeus on Broadway, thats actually been my favorite roll of all. 01:12:54 - B-Roll: Kristy Swanson arrives with family (husband and baby) and stands for press, pan over to photog. 01:14:08 - Sound Bite: Trevor Gagnon Nat Fly Me To The Moon Yeah I play Nat. OC: Cause you like to travel, huh? Trevor: Yeah I could escape the fly swatter. 01:14:43 - Sound Bite: Trevor Gagnon Nat Fly Me To The Moon Um, yeah I was learning about it in school at the time, but I mean, since I got to speak with Buzz, I even learned a whole new experience it was really cool. 01:15:14 - Sound Bite: Trevor Gagnon Nat Fly Me To The Moon Um, maybe I would take one of the guys from the Red Sox, and um, like my dog or something. 01:15:29 - B-Roll: Buzz Aldrin speaks with reporters 01:15:30 - A16. HRN-2519 In: 01:15:57 Out: 01:17:10 Sound Bite: Buzz Aldrin Himself Fly Me To The Moon Im glad that other people decided to mix the wonderful technology of three dimensional, high definition, animation, where all of those three technologies come forward in such marvelous ways, then to be able to melt together historical events without deviating and trying to change them, and mixing that in or super imposing a really wonderful family type of relationship, between the Grand parent a mother, whos the daughter of the Grand Father and the 3 children who are kind of rambunctious and they want to do there own thing and they decide what they want to do and darn if they dont carry it out, they slip away on board the Apollo 11 space craft, and then of course they not going to sit there doing nothing, they have to fix a big emergency, of course that didnt really happen, we maybe could have used them when the computer was getting a little over loaded. 01:17:18 - Sound Bite: Buzz Aldrin Himself Fly Me To The Moon Its always very enlightening to see the kind of questions that young folks want to ask, there is a Buzz Aldrin Elementary School near Dulles Airport in Virginia, and I really enjoy meeting and seeing what the progress is, uh, thats really is why Ive written a Childrens book thats been very popular, primarily my growing up and the decisions that I made as a kid, which sort of takes me down off a pedestal of history into ordinary growing up and now theres a new book that I participated in and that will be out early next year, and its really a great summary of all the incidents that have led to the advances in space flight. 01:18:27 - Sound Bite: Buzz Aldrin Himself Fly Me To The Moon I think I would want to take Tom Hanks, so he could see for real what he plays games with, um, then I would guess theres (Wife interrupts) some dedicated people, John would certainly, John Travolta would like to go back there. But I think theres some engineers, maybe somebody like John Hubolt who pioneered against the experts the unusual strategy of doing rendezvous at a distance of the moon, in order to bring people back, and that strategy has stood us really well, hes been a great role model of mine, and Ive tried to duplicate, (Wife interrupts), well Clint was in Space Cowboys, hes a good cowboy, Im not sure exactly how great a space man, he would be. He always wants to make my day. 01:19:29 - Sound Bite: Buzz Aldrin Himself Fly Me To The Moon A humming bird, does pretty well, making it look like, its floating in zero gravity, when its really, apparently kind of effortlessly, just staying in motionless, they eat a lot, they have to eat a lot to get energy, but they have to keep there weight trimmed down, right. 01:20:00 - B-Roll: Fashion Shot/Mrs. Aldrin 01:20:38 - Sound Bite: Buzz Aldrin Himself Fly Me To The Moon****Sniped Well we have enough space problems, just to find out how to get there, without worrying about trying to duplicate or not duplicate problems here, we are going to pick people who go in to space very carefully, Im not sure everybody whos on the Earth, somebody gets to pick who they are here, they just happen to appear and then they develop in to good guys and bad guys, hopefully, we can screen out the bad guys and be carefully selecting those who will become colonists lets say, first settlers on Mars, I dont think were going to establish colonys on the moon particularly, unless theyre workers, who are a accomplishing something thats turning a profit. The Moon is not that great a place to set up housekeeping, but Mars is a settlement off Earth that we have to decide, that were going to take advantage of or turn around and wait, till we are. 01:21:43 - Sound Bite: Buzz Aldrin Himself Fly Me To The Moon I think there mostly likely is, I have no firm believe, cause I dont have the evidence, we might be getting some kind of basic indications of the habitability of the surface of Mars for life that existed in the past, there maybe small remnants of it today, something happened to Mars that cause its atmosphere to dissipate and you get a bit cooler for the water to evaporate and to be really, except for the cold, north and south poles, to be sort of underground. 01:23:00 - Sound Bite: Kristy Swanson - Actress Which celebrity crew members would I want? Im so bad with these off the cuff questions? Cause you know I will think about it when Im driving home, Ill know exactly who I want, um, probably God and Mother Teresa, I dont know, they sound like good people. 01:23:35 - Sound Bite: Kristy Swanson - Actress Um, God, theres a lot of good ones out there, I love the lady bug, I dont know, there just cute and pretty, but I really like the praying mantis, yeah shes a little fierce, so between the two, I dont know. (She laughs) 01:23:57 - B-Roll: Fashion Shot/ Kristy Swanson Actress 01:24:17 - Sound Bite: Philip Bolden I.Q Fly Me To The Moon Its pretty cool, um, its sorter, like than regular film, but its also as fun, because you know you get to experiment with voices and you get to go as big as you want, without having the expression on film, its good. 01:24:48 - Sound Bite: Philip Bolden I.Q Fly Me To The Moon It was amazing, we learn a lot of stuff about space and he was willing to share it with us, so it was cool and we also did something for his birthday one time, it was fun, we presented him with a cake and everything, which was it was cool. 01:25:10 - Sound Bite: Philip Bolden I.Q Fly Me To The Moon Any celebrities? Two, ok, lets see here, uh, probably Denzel Washington and Al Pacino. OC: Why? Why would you take those two guys? Philip: Um, there, like my role models I love those guys, there amazing. 01:25:40 - Sound Bite: Philip Bolden I.Q Fly Me To The Moon I would probably be a fly, cause you get to annoy humans, 01:25:56 - B-Roll: Adrienne Barbeau speaks with reporters, Stacy Keach speaks with the Director, Fashion Shot woman in red skirt. 01:26:51 - Sound Bite: Ben Stassen Director Fly Me To The Moon Yeah, sort of, you know its a long process, you feel like your delivering over and over again, but it is. OC: What was your experience working with your young cast? Ben: Oh, they were great, they were absolutely fantastic and actually what we did, what I understand if fairly unusual for feature animated films, we actually used real kids for the kids voice, often its older women who do the kids voice, we decided that we wanted a very authentic and looking and feeling film so we went for 10, 11, year old kid, and they were fantastic, they were absolutely fantastic. 01:27:30 - Sound Bite: Ben Stassen Director Fly Me To The Moon Well weve been doing, making 3-D films for a very long time, for theme parks, for I-Max 3-D, so for us from the craftsmanship standpoint, you know the technicalities of making a 3-D film was not such a big move forward, what was well a very different thing was the format is much longer, an I-Max film is a maximum 40 minutes, a theme park film is ten minutes so doing a long form 3-D film was such a challenge, you know, I wanted to create a very immersive 3-D experience, I wanted the film to be watchable all the way through, a pleasant to watch and not a strain to the visual system, and you know to go extreme like we did in our film we had to find the right balance, so that was probably the most challenging thing to do. 01:28:23 - Sound Bite: Ben Stassen Director Fly Me To The Moon Two celebrities, thats a tough one, I would probably take kids, I would take kids, because they would be marveling at everything that would happen, well they wouldnt have to be well know kids, but I would take kids, it would be fun. 01:28:44 - Sound Bite: Ben Stassen Director Fly Me To The Moon A fly, because the concept of flying, you know, to me 3-D cinema is about emersion, its not so much about in your face effects, in your face effects are a lot of fun, but its more important to transport the audience into the film itself, so to me 3-D cinema in and of it self is the fly on the wall concept to be able to be where the action is and witness it first hand, and now here we have it both at the metaphorical level and the real level, cause the 3 flies are castaways in the thing, so I do like our flies so I think a fly would be a good thing to be. 01:30:13 - Sound Bite: Adrienne Barbeau Scooters Mom - Fly Me To The Moon Oh, its great fun, Ive done, I was the voice of Catwoman on the animated series of Batman, so Ive done, you know, some animation over the years, and thing that I love about it the most is that you dont have to get dressed, you know, you dont have to put on make up, you just show up now, I didnt have the opportunity to work with everybody else, I did all of my stuff, pretty much all by myself, and that is one of fun things about doing animation, when you show up in the studio you never know whos going to be there and its great, so Im looking forward to seeing everybody today, but. 01:31:25 - Sound Bite: Adrienne Barbeau Scooters Mom - Fly Me To The Moon Oh my gosh, Sophia Loren, oh, and say Robin Williams, why is he right behind me. 01:31:51 - Sound Bite: Adrienne Barbeau Scooters Mom - Fly Me To The Moon Maybe I would be a bee. OC: Why would you want to be a bee? Adrienne: This is rocket science and I cant come up with an answer. OC: All they do is sting people. Adrienne: No there beautiful, they fly around, they make noise, they get to hum, I would want to be a bee, so I could hum. 01:32:34 - Sound Bite: David Gore Scooter Fly Me To The Moon Well its awesome. Ive like this is my first animated film, first one I audition for, so it was really exciting when I got the part, and it was really fun playing this character. 01:33:09 - Sound Bite: David Gore Scooter Fly Me To The Moon I would like to take Adam Sandler, he would entertain me and then the second one I would take Jim Carrey, because Adam Sandler and Jim Carrey are my two favorite comedians. 01:33:33 - Sound Bite: David Gore Scooter Fly Me To The Moon The biggest one I guess, Id be a bee actually, because I have to fly, of course flying is awesome, and I would have the protection of my hive, so I would have to worry that much and I get to smell flowers all day so I would be a bee. 01:35:26 - Sound Bite: Domonic Paris Screenwriter Fly Me To The Moon Gina Gallo called me who is a producer on the movie, she is one of the principle in our company along with Mimi Maynard our company Illuminated produced with with Enway, she calls me up with one day, Im doing reality television and she says, I have an idea, 3 flies stowaway on Apollo 11, I said ok, I think nothing of it, they go to a pitch meeting to another company, for another project at the end of which they go what else do you have? She tells them the log line, they want to see it, when can we see it, 2 weeks, I hadnt written one page, I wrote it in seven days, submitted it, they didnt want to go in the direction we wanted to go, we gave the project to Charlotte Huggins whos a friend of ours and within a month we had a deal, two months later we were in production. It doesnt happen that way, who writes a spec animation script with that many people but here we are. Today were in our second movie with Enwavem, things are good. 01:37:28 - Sound Bite: Domonic Paris Screenwriter Fly Me To The Moon Sigourney Weaver, because I know she kicks butt, you can count on her, and Sigourney Weaver, I would just stick with the one I dont want to make her jealous. 01:37:42 - Sound Bite: Domonic Paris Screenwriter Fly Me To The Moon The largest one out there, I dont know what that is but whatever is the biggest one, thats what I would want to be.
