And of course space is not just a hundred collimators going up and coming back down again its staying in orbit for a period of time uh that only three nations have been able to do and its not easy and we need to uh replace the space shuttle with something that is uh admirable to the American people and not just another capsule. We need a capsule Im sure to come back from the moon but we need an alternate access to space and not replying on some other country to put our astronauts into space. 01:18:32 - Sound Bite: Buzz getting people excited about space We seem to be concerned about energy and up there in the sky is the sun thats where the source of almost all our energy comes from and we can put satellites up there, just like communication satellites, it can beam energy down to the earth. And a lot of people have known about that for quite some while, we need develop access to space which will give the US total leadership in space along with energy from space, thats a good combination as far as I can see it and thats what I think we ought to be doing and combing that with the heavy lift that is needed to take people to places like the moon and then eventually to mars but I think right now we need to look at uh what our source of energy is and its a long term investment Americans are not known for making long term investments we dont want to even drill for oil if its going to take us six or seven years to get a drop why bother is the attitude of most people so why should we care about getting energy from the sun if its going to take us 15 to 20 years but ill tell you another nation is going to do it but leadership in space from America is going to go down the tubes unless we wise up and start thinking in long term years and what the benefits are. 01:20:21 - Sound Bite: Jennifer Stone Hi Adorable, thatd be the first thing (talks) thats the cutest thing Ive ever seen. Uh where can I get one {Laughs} (talks) thats so cute lets see what else, thats adorable I love that. Youve got the stuff youre very well prepared. 01:20:50 - Sound Bite: Jennifer Stone ** Red Carpet Round Up Wow you make it terrible {laughs} this movies garbage (talks) thats a very important word, about. 01:21:09 - Sound Bite: Jennifer Stone Well I definitely try to recycle which is always plan A you gotta do that its the easiest thing to do but I definitely try to take you know biodegradable bags to the grocery store even though its hard to say its easier to do but I always try to leave them in the car or on my door handle so I can remember when I go to the grocery store to take that with me and I always try to turn my lights off and things like that and theres also, I love to go to the Dailygreen.com cause people are always thinking of new ways to help the environment and stop global warming, Im definitely for that. And every little bit helps I know its such a clich and everybodys like every little bit, but it really does so you know. 01:21:52 - Sound Bite: Jennifer Stone Id probably have to say, uhm Im trying to think, probably wearing more eco-friendly clothes, Im really bad at that, Im like its super cute and its cheap and I know its going to kill the environment when I decide not to wear it anymore but I really want it. Thats probably the worst though, as Im not really good with the eco-friendly clothes. 01:22:17 - Sound Bite: Jennifer Stone if could make a robot I dont know Im huge Star Wars fan so I might want a CP30 or an R2D2, one of those two. 01:22:50 - B-Roll - Wall E Premiere - Jennifer Stone with Wall-E mini robot 01:23:12 - B-Roll - Wall E Premiere Blair Underwood and his Children 01:23:30 - B-Roll - Wall E Premiere Marlee Matlin 01:23:42 - Sound Bite: Marlee Matlin My kids want to see it so I brought them so thats what Im here, anything thats Disney, Pixar Im here Disney is in our house every day. I walk in out house Disney is on I walk out of the house. 01:24:00 - B-Roll - Wall E Premiere Blair Underwoods Kids play with Wall-E mini robot 01:24:25 - Sound Bite: Blair Underwoods with his Children #01 At our school we have these water bottles that that like converse plastic because you dont like just waste them by recycling like every single time you get them you have one water bottle you use everyday #02 Also in 6th grade we all recycle for a certain class room or something so we yeah. Blair What about Dad its, everything, everything. The big thing now is electricity turning the lights off and not letting the car idle at anytime even at stop lights my daughters always on my case about turn the car off youre not moving you dont need the car. 01:25:11 - B-Roll - Wall E Premiere Blair Underwoods Kids play with Wall-E mini robot 01:25:39 - B-Roll - Wall E Premiere Jeff Garlin, little girl, Marlee Matlin with Wall E mini Robot 01:26:25 - Sound Bite: Marlee Matlin eco friendly Well in terms of being green in our family we recycle a great deal uhm important, it would be nice if my kids could walk more often then have me drive them but at the same time being that its LA and its a little tough and were a little spread out from everything so its tough to walk. 01:26:51 - Sound Bite: Marlee Matlin need to improve eco-friendly The area I think, I think gas is the one area, I need to reduce my driving but I need to be able to go to dance class, I need to be able to get ice cream its a little far away, its just something I got to do. The summers here its the wrong time to be staying home, the kids are home they want to get out they want to go everywhere but uhm maybe we should all just get on bicycles I think it might be good excise too for everybody. 01:27:31 - Sound Bite: Marlee Matlin attention from dancing with the stars Its been overwhelming to know how many people watch Dancing with the Stars. Form corners left and right telling me that Ive inspired them, kids that wrote me fan mail through my myspace, thousands and thousands of people, Im really really grateful for all the people for all there love and I thank everyone. And then my family whos supported me every step of the way, its unbelievable. 01:28:10 - B-Roll - Wall E Premiere Jeff Garlin, Fred Willard, Chelsea Staub 01:28:38 - Sound Bite: JImmy Jean-Louis Its funny we dont have a green carpet cause thats what they do now just have a green carpet. You know I do the basics make sure the cans go to the right been you know the bottles stuff like that. I hope everybody does and Im about to get a car, thats what Im looking for, its very hard to find one that you like and thats been my problem and I love classic cars and Im all about good looking shapely cars but you know.. 01:29:21 - Sound Bite: JImmy Jean-Louis Well defiantly changing the car cause that thats yeah, cause I have a big car and I do that will be a big change for the world. it. 01:29:37 - B-Roll - Wall E Premiere - JImmy Jean-Louis, Jeff Garlin 01:30:11 - B-Roll - Wall E Premiere - Jeff Garlin with Wall E 01:30:33 - Sound Bite: Jeff Garlin You know people who are watching this are going to think that I brought this with me and Im an idiot who comes to a premiere with a the toy, alright go. (talks) a little area, I recycle (talks) I dont have an area Im as green as I can be, its the truth, but I dont like talking about it, Im a man of action when it comes to being green, I dont want to talk about it. I drive a V8 SUV which makes me throw up every time I get in it and I talked to my business manager and he said no you have to finish up the lease which is only a few months away, my next car Ive already bought, its a Prius so, used Prius, used Prius. Cause you know New car, buying a new Prius doesnt do anybody any good, you have to work a lot harder to work off the carbon foot print by a used car. And get used toys, gently used. 01:31:42 - B-Roll - Wall E Premiere - Chelsea Staub 01:31:51 - Sound Bite: Mark Tarbell/ Dr. Wolfgang Fink Talks about break throughs in robotics 01:34:48 - Sound Bite: Fred Willard Well I dont think they credit this when I do my part and they were very secretative they wouldnt let me know what the plot was or what was going on I saw it last week for the first time. This is going to be a popular little guy I think. 01:35:09 - Sound Bite: Fred Willard Well just coming up here Im amazed by the greek theatre that theres still so much greenery left in Los Angeles, in every where you fly a corss the country you see so much land, I just wish theyd stop cutting down tress and building huge buildings and tearing down beautiful old places to build new big boxes and you know as individuals we can all pitch in a little and be aware of our environment and not waste too much and recycle and uhm what else, this is my grandson, what else do you do at school to recycle? Grandson - Well our school is very strong in the environment and we recycle, were very strong about recycling, out science class we always talk about uhm going green so. Fred And the great thing when your that age youre not really aware, you do it because you know its right and when you get older thats ingrained in you. And after people see this movie they wont even realize its not uhm its not a lesson youre hit over the head with. People just get the idea. So we hope it sinks in and stop cutting things down. 01:36:27 - Sound Bite: Fred Willard Oh you bet, multiplied about four times but New York, New York you gotta have a New York too. Gotta have the theatre and you know time square but but theres a limit.
