Description:In the first of a major three part series, Egyptologist David Rohl journeys back in time to examine the chronology of ancient Egypt and the lack of archaeological evidence for the early Old Testament. He explains how the chronology came about and questions it via three great stories of Egyptology - the excavations of the vast underground burial chambers of the sacred Apis Bulls at Sakkara; the hidden hoard of royal mummies near the Valley of the Kings; and the dig at the Royal Tombs of Tanis. In each there is a conundrum - the accepted dates of Egyptian history do not make sense. Furthermore, Egyptian dating is based on a date derived from the Bible: Rohl dismantles this key link.
