Description:Series on the history, psychology and philosophy of anatomy,to coincide with a major exhibition coming to London. A gory, macabre, but thoughtful exploration of the history of the uncovering of our internal workings and how each discovery has affected humanity's perception of itself. The series is timely as it puts current public disquiet about our body parts (living and dead) into historical perspective. The exhibition,Anatomy Art,featuring 200 plastinated human bodies has so far attracted 5.5 million visitors in Europe. Channel 4 has been instrumental in bringing the exhibition to London.
