This series examines the British class system in the 45 years since the 2nd World War to discover whether the British sense of class is still as firmly entrenched, or whether the factors such as state education, television, overseas travel and pop culture have eroded it. Each programme follows three generations of each family and examines their fortunes over the last 45 years, to discover things like who they married, the kinds of jobs they like to do, and what their thoughts and opinions are. Well ok at their own perceptions of class and how they would define themselves. This programme, looking at the Glynns, looks at the lives of an 'upper class' family.
