Description:The challenge for Matt James is gardening where there's almost no space for gardening. He's the urban gardener with attitude, who wants to show city-dwellers the potential of their roofs, balconies and patios.
(episode nine)
Liza and Paul live in a small terraced house in Kensal Green and their garden has become a dumping ground for all the leftovers from the work they have done on the interior of their house. Once the junk is finally removed Matt decides to use some of the materials in the garden including some old bricks to build some small walls to even out the slope of the land. The garden is multifunctional with a formal turfed area and plants and grasses around the edges. There is also paving and a seating area.
