Summary:Liza Minnelli's marriage to David Gest was representative both of her rollercoaster life and that of her mother Judy Garland. They made an abortive attempt to film an Osbournes- style reality series, which ended in acrimony, and split after 16 months, with Minnelli accused of Vodka-fuelled spouse abuse. Like her mother before her,Minnelli's life had been plagued by drink, drugs, tantrums and multiple marriages, often to men of questionable sexuality. Inside the Mind of Liza Minnelli explores her tumultuous marriage to Gest and how she arrived at that point. It also looks at Judy Garland's tragically short life and the parallels between mother and daughter.
