The travelling salesmen turn out to be solitary hunters and highly competitive with a fierce machismo when placed in the car. Just deciding who has to sit in the back is a problem. Soon their journey starts to go wrong; Steve becomes ill,Alan buys a haunted CD at the motorway services,Ian provokes a road rage incident and the car won't restart. To get help they walk through the snow to a deserted farmhouse. The men go inside to look for a phone and Helen turns up with a shotgun,believing they're burglars. Things go from bad to worse when Helen falls into a diabetic coma and the men think they've killed her and they discover they've lost their jobs. Only when a bright light heralds the arrival of the Arch angel Stella does the future begin to look better.
