- Title: 10 Years Younger: In Ten Days
- Date: 5th May 2004
- Description:Stylist Nicky Hambleton-Jones presents an extreme makeover show which aims to make someone look at least ten years younger each week. The participant has to undergo a humiliating poll in which members of the general public have to guess their age. The participant inevitably looks older than they should for their age and Hambleton-Jones confronts them with their average poll age. The programme then attempts to improve the participant's look by using a combination of plastic surgery, dentistry,a new haircut,make-up and a new wardrobe in the hope that a second poll will produce an average age that is at least ten years younger than the first result. The real challenge, however,is that all this has to be done in just ten days. Narrator: Simon Chadwick Producer: Dave Smith (episode two) Ronnie Donno is 39 but the public poll put her at 49 this was due to her leathery skin which has had too much exposure to the sun and too many filter-less cigarettes. Ronnie is given a painful chemical peel and facial fillers to reveal younger and fresher skin. Nicky Hambleton-Jones attempts to give Ronnie a new wardrobe but Ronnie is not quick to listen to Nicky's advice. Eventually Nicky wins the battle and Ronnie accepts that her clothes may be aging her. Antoinette Beenders gives Ronnie some golden highlights and a shorter cut to add height to her small frame. Makeup artist Gary worries that Ronnie's skin will not be ready to wear makeup by the last day but on the tenth day her skin is much improved. At the final poll Ronnie's new average age is 37 which is twelve years younger than her original poll.
