- Title: 10 Years Younger: In Ten Days
- Date: 12th May 2004
- Description:Stylist Nicky Hambleton-Jones presents an extreme makeover show which aims to make someone look at least ten years younger each week. The participant has to undergo a humiliating poll in which members of the general public have to guess their age. The participant inevitably looks older than they should for their age and Hambleton-Jones confronts them with their average poll age. The programme then attempts to improve the participant's look by using a combination of plastic surgery, dentistry,a new haircut,make-up and a new wardrobe in the hope that a second poll will produce an average age that is at least ten years younger than the first result. The real challenge, however,is that all this has to be done in just ten days. Narrator: Simon Chadwick Producer: Marrisa Merry (episode three) This week ex-model Wendy Grace from Christchurch loves the outdoors but it has taken its toll on her looks. 46 year old Wendy was put at age 50 by the public poll and experienced comments such as 'pitted' and 'weathered'. Wendy is given a major rescue job on her hair by Antoinette Beenders to give it a new lease of life and colour to combat the damage from over-bleaching. Next Wendy visits American plastic surgeon Dan Goldberg where she is given upper eyelid surgery and liposuction on her chin to remove excess fat from her neck. Nicky Hambleton-Jones revamps Wendy's wardrobe and makeup artist Louise Constalde shows Wendy how to really modernise her makeup.
