- Title: 10 Years Younger: In Ten Days
- Date: 16th June 2004
- Summary: Stylist Nicky Hambleton-Jones presents an extreme makeover show which aims to make someone look at least ten years younger each week. The participant has to undergo a humiliating poll in which members of the general public have to guess their age. The participant inevitably looks older than they should for their age and Hambleton-Jones confronts them with their average poll age. The programme then attempts to improve the participant's look by using a combination of plastic surgery, dentistry,a new haircut,make-up and a new wardrobe in the hope that a second poll will produce an average age that is at least ten years younger than the first result. The real challenge, however,is that all this has to be done in just ten days. Narrator: Simon Chadwick Producer: Marrisa Merry (episode eight) Sue Chamberlain is a mother of four who has overdone the dying of her hair and also has excessive facial hair. From the public poll Sue's average age came out at 40 but her real age is 34. First of all Sue visits the gym where David Marshall, fitness guru, measures her body fat and then sets her to work on a strict fitness regime. Sue then receives laser treatment to get rid of the unwanted hairs on her neck, chin and around her mouth. Emma Hardy shows Sue how to give herself a sinus drain around her eyes that will lift her face without having any surgery. Next,Nicky Hambleton-Jones revamps Sue's wardrobe and finally she visits Charles Worthington who strips all the colour from her hair and dyes it a rich brown and then gives her a smooth, sleek cut. One dress size smaller,Sue's new average age is 33 without any cosmetic procedures
