- Description:Peep Show is a narrative comedy series seen through the eyes of the core characters and each character's inner thoughts can be heard - whether they be dark, stupid or embarrassingly overblown. At the centre of Peep Show are Mark and Jeremy, who share a flat in Apollo Towers and couldn't be more different; Mark is the sensitive one with a disturbing interest in World War II and Jeremy is the lazy one who dreams of becoming a musician but is too preoccupied with admiring himself in the mirror. Mark - in his cack-handed way - is in pursuit of the love of his life, office co-worker Sophie, while Jeremy lives in awe of his idiotic and manipulative mate Superhans and their beautiful but brittle neighbour Toni. Created by: Andrew O'Connor,Jesse Armstrong,Sam Bain Director: Jeremy Wooding Producer: Phil Clarke Cast: Olivia Colman (Sophie),Neil Fitzmaurice,Nat Jenkins,Matt King (Superhans),Elizabeth Marmur (Toni),David Mitchell (Mark),Robert Webb (Jeremy),Sandy Walsh (Episode two) Mark attempts to get Jeremy a job at his work as he now owes him three months rent, but Jeremy doesn't think he needs to be a clerical assistant when his music career is about to take off. So to Mark's great annoyance Jeremy manages to sabotage the job interview whilst embarrassing Mark in front of a work colleague at the same time. On top of this Mark thought it would be a good idea to draw Sophie a picture of a swastika in an attempt to be 'crazy' but manages to get her home phone number anyway. He then proceeds to leave her a painfully awkward message on her machine which involves him singing 'I like you' on it,Geoff from the office finds out and sings it back to him in the lift.
