- Description:Peep Show is a narrative comedy series seen through the eyes of the core characters and each character's inner thoughts can be heard - whether they be dark, stupid or embarrassingly overblown. At the centre of Peep Show are Mark and Jeremy, who share a flat in Apollo Towers and couldn't be more different; Mark is the sensitive one with a disturbing interest in World War II and Jeremy is the lazy one who dreams of becoming a musician but is too preoccupied with admiring himself in the mirror. Mark - in his cack-handed way - is in pursuit of the love of his life, office co-worker Sophie, while Jeremy lives in awe of his idiotic and manipulative mate Superhans and their beautiful but brittle neighbour Toni. Created by: Andrew O'Connor,Jesse Armstrong,Sam Bain Director: Jeremy Wooding Producer: Phil Clarke Cast: Olivia Colman (Sophie),Neil Fitzmaurice,Paterson Joseph (Alan Johnson),Matt King (Superhans),David Mitchell (Mark),Robert Webb (Jeremy) (Episode four) Mark meets smooth-talking business man Alan Johnson at a work conference and falls in love. They become friends and before long Johnson has asked Mark to move to Cardiff with him so they can become business partners. Despite Johnson being a ruthless business man and Mark accidentally calling him dad,Mark begins to wonder whether he is gay and starts to obsess about it. Whilst Mark was away Superhans came over and Jeremy can barely remember what they got up to in the drug-filled stupor. He desperately wants Mark to stay otherwise it will mean living with Superhans who does nothing but smoke and get high. Somehow Jeremy manages to persuade Mark to drive Johnson's BMW and he ends up crashing it. Jeremy is convinced their friendship is over but Johnson is unfazed. In a last attempt Jeremy tells Johnson that Mark is in love with him,Johnson is disgusted that Mark would put him before the business and leaves. Whilst watching gay porn Jeremy has a flash back of the disturbing events that took place between him and Superhans on that crazy night.
