- Summary: (Five go Mad on Mescalin) The famous five,while on their way to stay with Mrs French at Hot Turkey Farm,learn that their uncle Quentin,a well known scientist and homosexual,has escaped from prison. They also hear for the first time about the strange Love Island just across the water. After a political disagreement with two loud Americans also staying on the farm,Julian and Dick decide to sleep in the barn. During the night they are disturbed by two ruffians loading a huge consignment of secret packages and once again hear the name love island. Determined to win through this new adventure they follow a series of clues which eventually lead to love island and a confrontation with the mysterious 'Dr Love' and his disciples.
