Summary:IN THIS PROGRAMME WE ARE INTRODUCED TO A NUMBER OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN IN HOSPITAL WITH SCHIZOPHRENIA AND ARE NOW LIVING IN THE COMMUNITY. IN PARTICULAR WE GET TO KNOW JULIE, ANDREW, ALAN AND TOM AND ALSO MEET SIAN AND JEFFREY. WE LEARN FROM THEM WHAT IT WAS LIKE TO HAVE SHIZOPHRENIA, HOW IT HAS AFFECTED THEIR LIVES AND THEY MANAGE TODAY. FOR MANY PEOPLE LIVING WITH SCHIZOPHRENIA MEANS BEING DEPENDENT ON DRUGS FOR A LONG TIME. PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD SCHIZOPHRENIA ARE BY NOT MEANS ALL ALIKE AND OVER THIS ISSUE, AS OVER OTHERS, THEY HAVE DIFFERENT AND SOMETIMES CONFLICTING VEIWS AND EXPERIENCES.
