In Britain TRAFFIK is the story of JACK LITHGOW, a minister at the Home Office, responsible for overseeing a new aid agreement with Pakistan to reduce the production of opium there. He visits Pakistan - on a fact finding mission and is approached by FAZLE - a local farmer who complains bitterly that the aid and promised grants never reach the local communities. In Pakistan, the story follows FAZLE and the other farmers when their illegal poppy fields are discovered.
