- Title: The Orchid House: Natalie
- Date: 14th March 1991
- Summary: Joan continues her politics. Natalie, the youngest sister, arrives from Trinidad in a seaplane. She visits Andrew and persuades him to go away with her for treatment. She and Joan persuade the Master that he too must seek help. Mr Lilipoulala's family demand an enquiry into the manner of his death. Joan does a deal with the influential Father Toussaint in which she will abstain from politics in exchange for which there will be no pursuit of Stella over Lilipoulala's death. But Joan telegraphs her husband in England, telling him to come out to Dominica to continue the political struggle. As the sea plane lands in Trinidad, the Master dies, clutching the hand of his grandson, Joan's boy. Finally we leave Lally, sitting in a rocking chair on the veranda, musing on the lives of the family.
- Description:Adaptation of Phyllis Shand Allfrey's novel "The Orchid House" tells the story of three white Creole sisters who grow up on the Island of Dominica and then leave their Caribbean island for the cold northern lands of England and America.
