Jim Nelson and family and Diane and Martin have arrived at Woodlands, after taking a circum cautionary route avoiding all bridges because of Jim's phobia. Martin tells Jim h is marriage is on the rocks. Diane tells Laura she may be pregnant and Martin is not the father. Peter, Lou Barnes and Barbara search the Nelson's house for Murray's files. They are not there so Grenville sends them to Woodlands to see if Jim has taken them with him. Peter and his thugs are instigating attacks on black and Asian youths - dressed up as police.
