- Title: Outside Time
- Date: 13th August 1991
- Summary: A PRINCE GOES HUNTING - The young woman, our muse, discovers both the monk and his brother the storyteller operating in their chosen habitat. They are both concerned with the telling of the first tale of the Four Branches. It is about Pwyll, the Prince of Dyfed, who went hunting and inadvertently misappropriated the quarry of the hounds of the King of the Underworld. Pwyll as a ruling prince has a great deal to learn about self-discipline and about how to choose a wife. Fortunately for him he is chosen by Rhiannon, whom in a previous existence, we know, was Goddess of the Horse. From the telling there are lessons to be learnt and morals to be drawn. Armarius, Head of the Scriptorium and ambitious Norman cleric is eager to intervene in the process.
- Description:It is odd that most british men and women know more about the myths of greece and rome than of their own island. This series will redress the balance by exploring our shared celtic litereay heritage from the mabinogii to arthur.
