George's five year tenure of friendship with Don has expired and Don is required to sit an exam which he fails abysmally. The two friends must part and, as George is owed money, there is only one solution. Don must be pawned. Returning home with his £6.32, George is a happy man until he discovers just how difficult life is alone. He realises the error of his ways and dashes back to pawnshop unaware that Don has already been sold to a mysterious old couple. Adolf and Brunhilda Higginbottom. The rescue mission begins. Don has fallen in with Nazis whose evil plan could destroy him. Only George, his one time friend, can save his life.
