Summary:Over The Garden Wall visits the great gorges of Cheddar and Avon with their wide range of flora providing, as they do, dark and hiden aspects as well as open and exposed. This pattern can also be found on a smaller scale in a walled garden, which offers different conditions for plants in north and south-facing areas. Botanical recorders Mark and Clare Kitchen are joined by naturalist Michael Leech to look at the variety of plant life in the gorges, from wild clematis to the very rare Cheddar pink, as well as some very strange onions!
