Summary:Foreign Correspondent Mary Kay Magistad travels to Cambodia in search of Pol Pot, leader of the notorious Khmer Rouge. After his murderous rule was ended 15 years ago Pol Pot was on the run and seemed to be finished. Officially he's been retired since then. But, as Magistad reveals, Pol Pot is the ultimate survivor. The mystery man is still in charge and his Khmer Rouge forces, restored by foreign aid, continue to cause misery to Cambodia. On the trail of Pol Pot, Magistad meets his brothers, sister, friends and fellow revolutionaries and discovers how a kindly boy became a mass murderer. She meets his enemies and his victims and reveals how the man known to his followers as "Brother Number One" still plots to return to power.
