The film Jurassic Park triggered off a world-wide craze for fossils and dinosaur bones. This craze has fuelled an international black-market,trading in illegal fossils worth thousands of dollars. The poachers are out in force to scour the lands for potential riches. The problems are particularly acute in America. Sergeant Rogers is a Deputy Sheriff from the small town of Kemmerer in Wyoming,right in the heart of fossil country. Poachers from all over the world come into his area to hunt out the booty. But this small town cop is doing all he can to fight the bad guys and defend the fossils. From dramatic helicopter sweeps of his territory,to working undercover,Rogers is determined he'll win. But a new form of law enforcement adds to his problems and the odds are stacked against him. This documentary follows Rogers over a year to see how he gets on.
