- Summary: Following their arrival in Bombay,Inspector Mayberry and Detective Constable Tarun Dev have found their investigation hampered by the activities of the local police who appear to be hindering rather than helping the operation. Suspecting a deep rooted level of corruption,both Mayberry and Dev have decided to play their cards close to their chest,particularly after Mayberry's main suspect is shot and killed by a police marksman. Fearing for his life,both Dev and he are further disturbed when the police marksman is found poisoned. Suspecting a cover-up,Dev joins with Inspector Marathe to investigate the man's death. Meanwhile Dev has also discovered a clue that leads him to Dilip Bhaat one of Bollywood's leading stars who also has a habit which he is keen to keep out of the pages of the film press. Dev is also pursuing another line of inquiry with Meena a student earning a living as a dancer in a bar.
