Summary:After the success of the first Comic Strip film 'Five Go Mad in Dorset',the team went on to creat more mayhem with forty original Comic Strip films, each as scurrilous as the other, but all totally different in style. This programme takes a look at some of the films which gathered a huge cult following - from everyone's favourite TV detectives Bonehead and Foyle in 'The Bullshitters',to the story of the world's worst rock group 'Bad News',the pretentious poets of the 'Beat Generation',and the award-winning 'Strike',where Arthur Scargill was played as a "mumbling ball of sexual tension from Brooklyn". With contributions from Robbie Coltrane,Keith Allen,Lenny Henry,French & Saunders,Rik Mayall and Peter Richardson.
