Now closed to the public to preserve the delicate and extremely rare structures within the caves,a team of NASA Scientists have been given special access. The NASA team are investigating how life could evolve and persist on Mars and the hostile environment of the Caves is the closest thing on earth to mimick Mars' landscape.
