- Summary: (Episode ten) Steve is back and wants Fiona to come and live abroad with him,Fiona refuses to see him but thanks to Debbie and Veronica they arrange a meeting. Unfortunately Craig finds out and tries to go for Steve but ends up knocking himself out. Fiona decides to leave and the whole family backs her decision,they persuade her they don't need her and bundle her out before Craig comes back. Lillian's husband is killed,at first they think he was hit by a police van but then discover he was shot; they have CCTV photos of a boy looking very like Carl running from the scene. Carol soon clocks on to Carl and he admits it was him. He found the gun,didn't know it was loaded,and then it went off in his bag and shot Brendan. Debbie masterminds a plan,she tells Tony and Stan that Carl was being circumcised that evening and nurse Lena backs her up,then Veronica and Carol pay some boys from the school to let them shave their heads so in the line-up they can barely be told apart. Craig comes back from the hospital to find that Fiona and Steve are gone and is devastated. Frank strikes a deal with Lillian and tells her not to tell the town hall Brendan is dead,that way she can still get his benefit and he will split it with her 40-60,she agrees on the condition that he take Brendan's dog who she hates. Frank tries to kill the dog in several equally violent ways but it keeps coming back so in the end he keeps it. The programme ends with a big sing along to 'Jerusalem' with the words running along the bottom of the screen.
- Description:The second series of drama SHAMELESS tells the every day story of life with the Gallagher family on the Chatsworth estate in Manchester. Eldest daughter Fiona is bringing up the family with boyfriend Steve- Lip (Philip),Ian,Debbie,Carl and Liam - after their Mum Monica left to live with her trucker girlfriend. Dad Frank is a drunk who is of no help to anyone and has now shacked up with Sheila,a kind woman,but who suffers from numerous mental health problems and their twin babies Nigel and Delia. Veronica and Kev are good friends of the Gallagher's and live next door to the family while local policemen Tony and Stan tend to turn a blind eye whenever they can to keep the families out of trouble. Veronica's mum,Carol and brother Marty,who suffers from Tourettes syndrome,often join them down the local pub,The Jockey,where Kev works and which is run by lesbian landlady Jez. Sheila's daughter,Karen works at the pub having told Jez that she is gay and now lives in the flat upstairs as well. Ian is gay but only his twin brother Lip knows,he has been seeing Kash who runs the corner shop where he works for some time. Kash's wife Yvonne found out about them but has decided to stay in the marriage and keep quiet so she can get a few more kids out of him.
