The Gobi desert is one of the least populated places on the earth; Nick has to endure extreme cold as his visit is in the middle of winter. From here Nick travels south to China where he discovers the home of the country's finest wine; Turpan. Nick then continues on to the Badain Jaran desert where he finds the world's highest sand dunes.
