The band was created on ITV's reality show 'Popstars: The Rivals' where each girl was voted into the band by the audience and then went head to head with the rival boy band to compete for the Christmas number one spot. Girls Aloud's single 'Sound of the Underground' won the top spot and was a huge hit. The band have continued to stay at the top with every single entering the charts in the top ten; a record that no other girl band has achieved. Sarah doesn't turn up to a costume fitting and Nadine leaves half way through in order to see her mum. Nadine has lunch with her mum and they discuss her fame. Sarah goes home to Manchester to see her mum and admits she would really like a boyfriend. Kimberley goes home to see her family,she has Sunday lunch and goes on a night out with her siblings in Leeds and gets more attention then she would like. The girls come back to London to learn the dance routines for their fast approaching arena tour and they are all very excited. Cheryl and Ashley talk about their wedding,having kids and after the band; they take their two puppies for a walk in the park. The girls talk about what it has been like being followed around by the cameras for the documentary. Montage of the best bits from the whole series.
