- Description:On a small island off the west coast of Ireland called Craggy Island live three priests and a housekeeper. Father Ted Crilly dreams of an easy life and a parish in Las Vegas,but these dreams are constantly shattered by the weird and wonderful house guests and events that always seem to occur on Craggy Island. Father Ted lives with young Father Dougal McGuire who lives in a world of oblivion and needs constant looking after,and Father Jack Hacket; a semi-conscious alcoholic who spends his days sleeping in his chair,dreaming of girls or shouting abuse and demanding more drink. The three priests are constantly bombarded by cups of tea,forced on them by Mrs Doyle,the housekeeper who wont take no for an answer. Father Ted spends his days trying to stay sane in the face of his eccentric housemates and the even more bizarre guests that befall his doorstep. Second Series.
