- Summary: Episode Four: The Blackout Fran sees her boyfriend Peter with another woman and decides she should blank him as Bernard got blanked by his friends Gerald and Sarah earlier that day. Bernard went to Gerald and Sarah's dinner party the night before but cannot remember what he did to upset him. Manny has been up all night watching The Sweeny and drinking espressos and so consequently believes he is a cop. An old woman gets mugged and Manny chases after the mugger telling her he is the police. The mugger stops and Manny runs straight past him realising he has no police powers but the old woman sees him and tells a real policeman who he is. Manny ends up at the police station trying to get a well known criminal to confess to a crime; he panics but it works and the real police say he is the best copper they have ever seen. Fran sees Peter when she is in the beauty parlour so chases him in order to ignore him but ends up walking into the road and getting hit by a car,it turns out the other woman was Peter's sister and he dumps her for being mad. Bernard goes to see Gerald and Sarah to find out what he did and they tell him he went to the toilet in their kitchen in front of their son. He doesn't think that's worthy of being blanked so demands an apology but ends up falling down the stairs and breaking his arm.
