Description:May.04 -- Most countries have social safety nets; America has moms. And according to the group calling for a "Marshall Plan for Moms", it's high time to compensate mothers for all the things they do to keep the economy running. Behind this effort is Reshma Saujani. She is also the founder of Girls Who Code and a mother of 2 boys. For Mother's Day, the group came up with a campaign to highlight the true value of mothers' work: an online flower shop featuring different bouquets that society at large can give moms – for instance, a pay gap bouquet worth $15k. Saujani sat down with Bloomberg's Scarlet Fu to talk about the initiative.
