Description:00 26 10 00 United States, 1910s. Inside the office of her father, Otis Harland, Doris May accompanies her fiancz Hallam Cooley to a meeting. But her father is opposed to Cooley's presence because he needs his daughter. She insists, he refuses, Cooley leaves alone. The father and daughter then leave in a car for their meeting. Later, inside the gangsters' office, the gangsters await their client. It is warm, and they fan themselves. Otis Harland and his daughter arrives in a convertible; the leader of the gangsters sees them from the window. He takes Doris May for a private eye whom he,must eliminate, and he and his men go downstairs to kill her. On the stairs, they bump into her father.
