Description:00 20 30 00 United States, 1910s. Inside a wax museum, night. A woman, Doris May remains locked in the museum. It is dark and she seems frightened by the terrible wax statues. The automatically moving statues are still functioning. She strikes a match to see better. She roams awkwardly through the museum looking for a candle, but she bangs up against the terrifying statues. She accidentally burns a statue of a pre-historic man, close-up of the man striking his wife with a club. The wax melts from the heat of the candle. The arm of the statue falls and strikes Doris who flees, running. She mistakes the museum's janitor for a statue because he's immobile, but he is not made of wax. He helps her out of the museum.
