Description:00 17 30 00 United States, 1910s. A young bourgeois woman, Doris May, follows a bearded man through a wax museum. So as not to be noticed, she poses as a statue. Tourists and visitors walk past her without noticing, but in turning around, she discovers that the man whom she has been following is sitting very close to her. He frightens her by shouting, and she faints, due to emotional shock and fear. Her aggressor gets ready to strangle her, but some visitors appear, and he himself freezes like a statue. Suddenly, the guard of the museum announces that the museum is closing. The aggressor discreetly regains the exit and leaves Doris May alone and unconscious in the museum.
