She(it) wakes up gradually, feeling(smelling) a presence. In street of Paris, Joseph Schildkraut and Lilian Gish calls a carriage, to tick. Transport. In the cellar, old tramp and his other son are delighted at their arrest, because Gish is going to bring back(report) them a lot of money(silver). Venal and cynical poor man. Later, the other street of Paris, Lilian Gish goes down(falls) from his(her) carriage and rushes in front of an inn in search of his(her) sister, but she is not any more there, disappearance. Gish is paniced, she does not know where to go to find his(her) sister. She approaches near the Seine and thinks that her sister fell there, probably. Close-up Gish in tears, Schildkraut joins her(it) to reassure her(it).
