Title:‘Fairy doors’ on Hong Kong’s Bowen Road open up woodland ‘treasure hunts’ for homebound kids
Date:21st January 2021
Description:Dozens of mysterious “fairy doors” have popped up along the Bowen Road Fitness Trail in Hong Kong. Made of wooden sticks, clay and recycled materials, they are hidden among the trees and woods along the 3km (2-mile) path on Hong Kong Island. The “doors” put a smile on the faces of passers-by and offer children a chance to go on a magical weekend treasure hunt at a time when so many recreational activities are closed because of the coronavirus.
