- Description:Vienna museums among the first to reopen in Austria First museums and exhibitions reopened in Austria today, May 15th. One of them was the Lower Belvedere, hosting actually the exhibition “Into the night” with paintings of the 1920s. By July 1st, all museums should be open to the public again. The Belvedere is a historic building complex in the third district of Vienna, consisting of two Baroque palaces (the Upper and Lower Belvedere), the Orangery, and the Palace Stables.
